Movement Screenings

Movement Screenings

Movement screenings are a method of detecting faulty movement patterns that can, over time, cause tissue breakdown and injury. Whether it is a sport-specific movement like pitching or performing a jump stop, repetitive motions like running or cycling, or even lifting techniques for work duties, our Physical Therapists are trained to observe these movements, identify regions of the body that could be at risk for injury, and establish methods to improve these movements, maximizing physical performance. These movement screenings are an important part of injury prevention.
